ACE-AFSCME Local 2250 is currently seeking proposals from qualified and experienced forensic audit firms to conduct a thorough forensic audit of the financial records of ACE-AFSCME Local 2250. The purpose of this audit is to ensure transparency, integrity, and compliance with applicable regulations in the financial management of the union.
Scope of Work:
The selected forensic audit firm will be required to perform a comprehensive review of the financial records, transactions, and internal controls of ACE-AFSCME Local 2250. The scope of work should include, but is not limited to:
Examination of financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
Investigation of potential fraud, embezzlement, or misappropriation of funds.
Assessment of internal controls related to financial processes.
Review of compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing union finances.
Identification of any irregularities or discrepancies in financial records.
Recommendations for improving financial management and internal controls.
Proposal Submission Guidelines:
Interested forensic audit firms are invited to submit their proposals by March 14. The proposals should include the following:
Company profile, including relevant experience in conducting forensic audits for similar organizations.
Details of the proposed methodology and approach to conducting the forensic audit.
Proposed timeline for completion of the forensic audit.
Clear breakdown of the fees and expenses associated with the forensic audit.
Information on the qualifications and experience of the audit team members who will be assigned to this project.
References from past clients for similar forensic audit services.
Evaluation Criteria:
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Experience and qualifications of the forensic audit firm.
Methodology and approach to conducting the forensic audit.
Cost and value for money.
Proposed timeline for completing the audit.
References from past clients.
